active stocks: Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: SBI Cards (Rs. 4069.81 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 3233.56 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 1929.98 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 1521.50 crore), ITC (Rs. 1347.60 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 1141.01 crore), RIL (Rs. 1099.15 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 1018.01 crore), JSW Steel (Rs. 934.64 crore) and Hindalco (Rs. 835.50 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 165.1 points up at 17562.0, while BSE Sensex rose 283.96 points to 58774.89.

In the Nifty index, JSW Steel Ltd. (up 5.65 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 5.21 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (up 4.99 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 4.37 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 3.34 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 2.49 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 1.57 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (down 1.35 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.25 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.65 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
