NEW DELHI: Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd. traded 1.33 per cent down in Tuesday’s trade at 02:12PM (IST). Around 6,982 shares changed hands on the counter.
The scrip opened at Rs 1124.6 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1125.0 and Rs 1099.25, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Adani Green Energy Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1394.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 558.95.
As per BSE, the total market cap of the Adani Green Energy Ltd. stood at Rs 175013.2 crore at the time of writing this report.
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1079.0 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, down 0.28 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 1082.0 crore and down 22.87 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 878.14 crore.
The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 219.0 crore, up 1033.54 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
As of 30-Jun-2021, domestic institutional investors held 0.12 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 20.32 per cent and the promoters 54.92 per cent.
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 452.74 and a price-to-book ratio of 200.6. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
