NEW DELHI: Shares of traded 2.71 per cent up in Wednesday’s trade at 09:59AM (IST). Around 396,111 shares changed hands on the counter.
The counter opened at Rs 609.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 615.9 and Rs 599.55, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Bharti Airtel Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 615.9 and a 52-week low of Rs 381.05.
The telecom major is scheduled to report its December quarter results today.

The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 25785.0 crore for the quarter ended 30-Sep-2020, up 7.71 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 23938.7 crore and up 22.02 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 21131.3 crore.
The net loss for latest quarter stood at Rs 763.2 crore, down 96.69 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
As of 31-Dec-2020, DIIs held 13.95 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 17.75 per cent and the promoters 36.04 per cent.
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of -14.4 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.12. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
