NEW DELHI: Shares of Accuracy Shipping, Rajnandini Metal, Excel Ind, Orient Refractories and Vishnu Chem, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday’s trade on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 509.65 points up at 17352.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Repco Home Fin, Manappuram Finance, Rossari Biotech, Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd. and Fino Payments Bank Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 48 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 2 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Shree Cements, Bajaj Finance and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, ONGC, Power Grid, Tata Consumer and Divis Labs ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 1736.21 points up at 58142.05.
Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Rubber, Airlines, Auto and Tourism & Hospitality sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, Packaging, Electric/Electronics, Pharmaceuticals and InvIT sectors during the day.
